Aishwarya Rai Bachchan got brutally trolled for her sartorial pick. For her first red carpet appearance at the 76th edition of Cannes 2023, the actress showed up wearing a sequinned gown with a giant hood attached to it. Adorned with silver paillettes, her eye-catching dramatic ensemble featured a floor-length train and an extra-large bow in the front. Needless to say, this was Ash's most dramatic look. She completed her look with straight hair, red lips, and bold eyes.

Aishwarya Rai made her Cannes debut 20 years back in the year 2002. Young Aishwarya looked majestic in yellow Neeta Lulla saree as she walked the red carpet with SRK and Sanjay Leela Bhansali as they attended the premiere of Devdas.

Year after making her debut, Aishwarya become the first Indian actress who was invited as a jury member at the Cannes Film festival. At the event, she showed up in different Indian outfits of various styles from a green saree with a heavily embroidered blouse to the yellow suit that she wore at the opening of the festival.
